Abraham Morgentaler, MD, FACS
Dr. Morgentaler, the Director of Men’s Health Boston, is an Associate Clinical Professor of Urology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Harvard Medical School. In 1999 Dr. Morgentaler founded the first comprehensive Men’s Health center in the US, and his scientific research on testosterone- in particular the relationship between testosterone and prostate cancer- has revolutionized medical concepts and clinical practice. Dr. Morgentaler lectures nationally and internationally. He co-founded the Androgen Society, an international multidisciplinary professional organization dedicated to testosterone research, and served as its first President. He is Senior Editor of the medical journal, Androgens: Clinical Research and Therapeutics.
Dr. Morgentaler has published over 200 scientific articles and textbook chapters on topics related to male reproduction and sexuality. He is a regular contributor to television and radio shows addressing male issues, and has appeared on NBC Nightly News, CBS Evening News, CNN with Anderson Cooper, and The CBS Morning Show. Dr. Morgentaler has been featured in The New Yorker, and his comments have been published in journals such as Newsweek and US News and World Report.
